Notify Unconfirmed Subscribers Plugin

Keith from Techie-Buzz recently released a handy little WordPress plugin, Notify Unconfirmed Subscribers, that will likely help you increase your subscriber base.

If you have been offering RSS Feeds and Email Subscriptions on your site for any length of time, you will likely have at least a few subscribers that have not confirmed or activated their subscription. There are many reasons why a subscriber might not have confirmed their subscription. Maybe it got caught in their SPAM filter, maybe it got deleted by accident or maybe their dog ate it. Regardless of the reason, you have possible readers that are not receiving your content.

In the past it was necessary to individually send reminder emails to each of your unconfirmed subscribers. Now with the Notify Unconfirmed Subscribers plugin these emails can be sent to all unconfirmed subscribers a few short steps, saving you hours of tedious work.

After you have installed the plugin (upload and activate) navigate to the Notify Unconfirmed Subscribers option page in the WordPress admin, enter your FeedBurner account information, create a custom message and send it to all of your unconfirmed subscribers. The whole process takes a matter minutes and is extremely easy.

Download Download the plugin.

This is a really good idea. I’ve done this manually in the past.
